The club’s description

Text from the historic profile: descriptions, comparisons and references reflect the period in which it was originally published.

The BMW C1 Family’s Friend 125 is a true all-rounder. It comes with a standard mounting kit that makes it easy to secure a range of luggage systems, including the luggage rack and lockable top case offered in BMW’s accessories range. This is particularly useful in everyday life: briefcases, sports bags and shopping bags can all be carried safely and sheltered from the weather. The BMW C1 Family’s Friend also has a large, useful lockable storage compartment for smaller items such as wallets, glasses and anything else you want to keep locked away. The model is offered in four colour combinations (see above), which, together with the black seat and decorative details — prominent side lettering and contrasting colours — draw admiring looks wherever the Family’s Friend goes. The available colours are Frosty Blue metallic/Kalahari Yellow; Kalahari Yellow/Frosty Blue metallic; Frosty Blue metallic/Orange Red; Orange Red/Frosty Blue metallic.
