The club’s description

Text from the historic profile: descriptions, comparisons and references reflect the period in which it was originally published.

The basic BMW C1 200 stands out for two features: the sound of its 176 cc engine, producing a full 13 KW (18 CV) for livelier acceleration, and the side lettering highlighting this model’s larger engine. Like the 125, it comes in red or jade, and both can be extensively personalised with the full range of C1 options. These include ABS, a top case, an on-board computer, the Fun-Audio-System with active loudspeakers (which adjust the volume to your riding speed), a reading light, hazard warning lights and an audible anti-theft alarm. Those are just the main options — the full list is much longer.
